6 years of perfecting spray refilling
Since 2020, Respray Solutions Kft. has worked on a single question: how to refill a spray can again and again, safely and simply. We have brought this know-how to workshops with the RESPRAY™ RSB brake cleaner refill station.
From the first idea to the workshop
Two secondary school classmates, Réti Andor and Zámbó Gergely, started wondering during a chat between friends why every empty spray can has to be thrown away. The idea first attracted investment, then became a company. Since then, our refill stations have made their way from drugstore shelves to car workshops.
The RSB1 and RSB2 prototypes taught us what a refill station working in an industrial environment needs. They led to today's refined RSB3 series, whose stations we are installing now.
- 2020
First investment in the incubation programme of BME Z10, Hiventures and Startup Campus. Respray Solutions Kft. is founded in September.
- 2021
The first prototype (RSA1) is completed, capable of refilling spray cans multiple times.
- 2022
The world's first spray deodorant refill station (RSA2) is completed.
- 2023
The first RESPRAY™ stations in Rossmann stores in Budapest.
- 2024
New investment round (Impact Ventures, STRT, Nesprit) and development of the 30 new stations.
- 2025
The 30 new RSA3 stations are installed in Rossmann stores across Hungary.
- 2026
Installation of RESPRAY™ RSB brake cleaner refill stations in workshops begins.
Mission
Fewer discarded cans, a simpler workshop
Every discarded spray can is waste that someone has to take away, and money that ends up in the bin. Our aim is for brake cleaner to be as much a given in the workshop as compressed air: always to hand, ordered less often, and with no empty cans piling up.

30 stations, day in, day out
30 RESPRAY™ refill stations for cosmetic spray products operate in Rossmann stores. Shoppers refill their spray cans there, using the same technology the brake cleaner system is built on. It is everyday proof that refilling works reliably under frequent use.

Respray Solutions Kft. has been developing spray refill systems since 2020, with all of its operations in Hungary. Our solutions have received Hungarian and international packaging and innovation awards, including the WorldStar gold medal for sustainability.
We already have more than 30 workshop partners in Hungary, the largest of which is Schiller Autó Család. At every partner, refilling brake cleaner has become part of daily work and brings ongoing cost and waste reduction.
