Privacy policy
1. The data controller

2. Quote and callback requests
What we process: what you enter in the form: the requested topic (quote, demo or question), the selected plan, your monthly can usage range, the contact person's name, the name of the workshop or company, the town, the phone number, the email address (if you give one) and your comments, as well as the page from which you sent the form. We need this data to call you back.
Purpose: calling you back, preparing a quote and related contact.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If the contact is not related to a quote request, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where it goes: the data is stored in a Google spreadsheet (Google Sheets), and a notification email about it is sent to the sales team (currently Zoltán Csíkos and the refill@respraysolutions.com address). The form handles sending through a Google Apps Script application.
Retention: we keep quote request data until the enquiry is closed, and if no contract is concluded, for a maximum of 12 months. If a contract is concluded, we store the data for the duration of the contractual relationship, and data relating to accounting records for the retention period required by law. At your request, we delete your data earlier.
3. Calculator
What we process: the data entered in the calculator (monthly can usage or number of litres, can size, current price) and the result (status, percentage shown, recommended plan). This data does not identify a person on its own. We keep a log of the results in a Google spreadsheet for statistical and development purposes.
Sending the result by email (optional): if you request the result, we send it to the email address you provide. In this case, we record the email address in the calculator log together with the related calculation data, so that we can contact you about your enquiry.
Legal basis: your request to send the result, and our legitimate interest in operating and developing the calculator (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: we keep log entries for a maximum of 24 months, after which we delete them or continue to use them in aggregated form without personal data.
4. Cookies and visitor analytics
Necessary storage: the website stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (rs_consent). This is necessary for the site to work and does not identify you.
Statistical measurement (only with your consent): if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure how the website is used. If you click “Decline”, measurement does not start and we do not set any analytics cookies.
What is measured: page views, scrolling to the end of the page, clicks on outbound links, file downloads (for example PDFs) and playback of embedded YouTube videos (start, 25, 50, 75 per cent, end). Because of the video measurement, the YouTube script is also loaded if you consent. We also record the type of device and browser, the approximate geographical location and the source from which you arrived at the site. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Cookies: _ga (distinguishes visitors, lifetime 2 years) and _ga_EZZPNCXV2R (session state, lifetime 2 years). We do not use data storage for advertising purposes, and advertising settings are switched off.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Act on Electronic Communications). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Retention: Google Analytics retains user and event data for 14 months.
5. Data processors and data transfers
The website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, the form and calculator data are handled by Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Apps Script, Gmail), and measurement by Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer the data outside the European Union, including to the United States. The legal basis for the transfer is the adequacy decision under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of its processing, object to the processing, and request data portability. You can submit your request using the contact details above. You can lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., naih.hu), or take the matter to court.
